Cook your own meal at the common kitchen, because eating out is too expensive and not the best eating places. And if you can, take supermarket things with you from home or from the discount supermarkets in Norway (Rema 1000, Rimi, Kiwi or Bunnpris), because the supermarket in Flam is far more expensive than many other supermarkets in Norway. They could ask a lot more money because of the monopoly position in the village.
A ne pas manquer... 21 Aoû 2011 Benno, Pays-Bas:
the Flamsbanen and a cruise along Aurlandsjord and Naeroyfjord. And do a walk at the Flam valley and to Otternes farmyard along the way right at Aurlandsfjord, but only for the walk itself, because Otternes farmyard is just nice to see from the entrance and not worth to pay for it. Also the Borgund stave church is nice to visit by bus, although there are renovation works when we were there and they will be ready next summer.

Spacious & very well equipped kitchen - so bring your own food. Anywhere, Flam is a tiny place and nowhere really to eat.

HI Hostel Flåm

L'A.J. de Flåm est une auberge saisonnière ouverte du 1er avril au 31 octobre. Elle se trouve au terminus du trajet en train le plus escarpé de Norvège. La ligne de train jusqu'à Flåm et la piste cyclable de Navvies partent de Haugastøl via Finse (1 222 mètres au-dessus du niveau de la mer), vont jusqu'à Vatnahalsen, puis redescendent dans la vallée de Flåm. Etant donné l'emplacement dans un affluent étroit du Sognefjord, l'endroit est desservi quotidiennement par des ferries et des bateaux, depuis Balestrand, Fjærland, Gudvangen et Bergen. | plus......
