Close to the hostel, you can eat "Haril" (vegetable soup) with bread for 0.4 $/€. It digests very well. The more heavy meals, can best be eaten at noon. Meals like "Tajin" or "Couscous". Always ask for the biggest Tajin, because the price does not depend on the size. Price is 6 $/€ or maximum 12 $/€ in a hotel. Also interesting: spend 3 days close to the Sahara. 1 day to travel, 1 day to ride Camel and 1 day to visit a small desert-village. Just ask Ahmed. Price around 150 €/$. Pricey, but it was worth the money (and you can always try to negociate, especially when you are more than 2). |
