02 Nov 2010 Maja, Norway:
Make sure to bring a good pair of walking shoes and just walk around Athens. You can walk everywhere in Athens. I recommend the National Gardens, they are beautiful! Morning jogs around the hills below the Acropolis are also highly recommended! (Aim for the Tower of the Winds or the upper side of the Agora and just explore.) |

Is there such a thing as bad Greek food...I didn't find it! Just depends on how much money & how far you want to go. Lots of great eating places with in steps of the hostel. |

The Parthenon of course and National Gardens, both a short walk. Great museums also; a few within walking distance, others by metro or cab. |

Ten minutes walk to the Monastiraki square there is a restaurant which also sells take-away kebabs for 1.80euro. These were lush! Also on the square is a stall selling cups of coconut milk for 1.00euro. |

Do a hop on hop off tour. Also, this hostel is close to the national gardens, which is good for a walk or jog. |

Santorini was fantastic. Book through the hostel - their partner hotel on the island was very well located and excellent value for money. |

08 Sep 2010 Derri-anne, England & Wales:
Turn right out of the hostel and down the street about 100yards and there is a cinema/bar and also just down a bit more is a roof-top bar selling cocktails. Turn left out of the hostel and walk up to the main road with traffic (Filelinon) and there is a small night club opposite painted in black and white stripes. |
