Visit Talloires a small town on the lake with beautiful views from the beach, and the amazing views of the lake if you follow the road up to where the paragliders take off. also panoramic views at Cret du Chatillon, follow the road up from the Hostel. |

The MONOPRIX in town, buy food and make it in the hostel. They have really great cheap 'bio' brand pre-made salads: quinoa, lentil and smoked tofu and taboule. |

Just have a wander round the town. The tourist office are very helpful, and give out maps with suggested walks and attractions. |

Only one problem: if you don't do any skiing, there's almost nothing to do in Annecy. But it's a very nice city, though! |

Dinner (pizza, quiche) available for a little extra at the Hostel, hot drink machine after cold nights walk is just a life saver ;-) guest kitchen, if you'd like to cook There's a street Market on the weekends till about noon in the Old town area, where you can buy really tasty patissery. |

the hostel has pizzas, and quiche for dinner for about 7 EUR, including a 0,33 soda (cola, etc). And you can find Barnaby's self-service eatery downtown on Rue Sommelier for a really good price. |

If you are going to Geneva - take the bus instead of the train, theres a poster with times in the hostel. |
