There are many sandwich shops just 5 mins from the Hostel in Place Plumereau (rue de commerce) and Place de Grand Marche. You may also cook your own meals and the kitchens are well equipped. There are relatively few supermarkets in town but you may buy from many open markets. |

Instead of joining the bus tour, I took the bus to visit Chateau Chenonceau, Chateau Amboise and Chateau Clos-Luce in one day. Each trip is only 1.5 euros and I have about 2 hours to explore each place. Unfortunately, it was very cold (raining and snowing) when I was there(7th Feb, 09). The gardens should be very beautiful in the summer! |

A kabab store on Rue de Grand Marche very cheap, friendly and filling plus a Pizza place on the place de grand marche buy one get one free! |

the chateau, they were fantadtique. Clos de Luce was a little over priced but in Spring or summer it would have been better! |
