Take the number 5 tram (tickets from the driver in the highly-likely event of not being able to find a shop that sells them!) for just 1 Bulgarian Lev to the end of the line, where the edge of the city meets the edge of the forest at the bottom of the mountains. Lovely cool place to walk under the shade on hot days. |

SunMoon does amazing vegetarian & vegan food, including takeaway sandwiches & salads, and some fantastic desserts as well as their great bread made in front of you. Veda House (also veggie & vegan) do some lovely ayurvedic food and a mind-boggling range of tea (the tea menu is 10 times the size of the food menu!) and has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Both very cheap for excellent quality food. |
