From the small village Queralbs, you can hike up (3 h) on a beautiful trail with stunning waterfalls that easy to moderate (there's also a small train) to a lake in "Vall de Nuria". Here there is a limited number of spots for tents next to a stream. A couple of hundred meters above this lake, there is a great hostel "Alberg Pic de L'Aliga" (Youth Hostel Network of Catalonia), which offers great views of wildlife and more trails through the mountains. |
