Sleeping outside to watch for the Northern Lights was very comfortable. With an absence of preditors I felt very safe and the long grass was very comfortable. There is a great little inlet that faces the Eastern rising Sun where all wind would be blocked, but I liked the wind so I slept on top of the hill. |

Jorkursarlon.... oh my goodness, so incredibly beautiful. i would highly recommend the ice cave tour with Land and Sea during the winter. Meditating at that lagoon is sooooo serene... just incredible. |

Next excursion is Alaska, but my next trip to Iceland will include a return to Hvoll because it is so great, and extend 4-5 days in the West Fjords because I heard that's what it takes to experience them:) |
