Ask the staff at the front desk where is good to eat. They will direct you to a nice Okonomiyaki shop a short walk from the hostel. Hiroshima's okonomiyaki is famous in Japan so you should make sure to try as many different okonomiyaki restaurants as you can while you are there. |

Spend some time on Hondori, the outdoor shopping mall/arcade in downtown Hiroshima. Just of the west end is a street called Okonomiyaki-machi littered with tons of various okonomiyaki restaurants. |

Hiroshima Peace Park and each of the memorials there to the vicitims of the atomic bomb is an obvious must. Also check out the temple on Miyajima island. The ferry ride is free for Japan rail pass holders, and is a very famous landmark in Hiroshima. |

If you've come this far south (and you likely have a rail pass) you may as well ride the bullet train to it's end down to Fukuoka (1hr away). Fukuoka is on the north end of the Kyushu island and has lots to offer for sightseeing (museums, landmarks, ocean) and shopping (Tenjin district). |

| HI Hostel Hiroshima - Hiroshima YH Nuestro albergue goza de una buena ubicación para explorar los dos lugares de Patrimonio de la Humanidad: el parque Peace Memorial (lugar de la bomba A) y Miyajima (conocida como una de los tres vistas más bellas de Japón*, que es una bonita isla que se encuentra a 20 km al suroeste de la ciudad de Hiroshima).
El templo Fudoin que está cerca del albergue es el único tesoro nacional de Hiroshima, que sobrevivió el fuego de la bomba A.

Foto 9: Noche de paz y amistad internacional. Celebramos la noche de la paz y de la amistad internacional una vez al mes, con un huésped ponente con un intérprete inglés que sobrevivió a la bomba A. También podrás disfrutar haciendo pequeñas cosas de esa temporada. Estamos deseando que te unas a nuestro programa.

Ducha por las mañanas de 18.00 a 20.30.
Lavadora: 200 JPY (1,28€)
Secadora: 100 JPY (0,64€) por 40 minutos.
El horario para registrarse es de 15.00 a 22.00 (facilitamos guardaequipajes para aquellos que lleguen antes).
Toque de queda a las 23.00.
El último día hay que dejar las habitaciones entre las 7.00 y las 10.00.
