There are lots of mexican, thai, chinese and japanese restaurants near the hostel. Going down the mason street there's a small mexican restaurant called Taqueria Castillo. Very simple place but the food is good and cheap. |

Rent a bike and take a whole day to discover the city. Golden gate park, golden gate bridge and the beach. Don't miss pier 39 and bubba gump restaurant too. You can use the cable car to get to the piers. there's a station near the intersection of Powell and Ellis St, just a few blocks from the hostel. |
