Whole Foods is located a bit of a walk away and there are lots of Indian and Mexican places around that are alright. Head outside of the "downtown" core to get cheaper deals. |

It's not very cheap but Umami at Union and Webster is a must for dessert. They have an amazing cookie dough roll. Also If you go early they do have a few items that are about half off. |

Get a muni passport and a map and just ride the busses around, there's no need for a tour bus. Another fun thing to do is take the BART to Berkeley and walk down Telegraph street. |

Little Star Pizza is amazing and is pretty affordable when split between several people. They have a couple of locations. Honey Honey Cafe & Crepery is only a few blocks from the hostel and does a tasty breakfast. |
