USS Midway, see what was life was like on an aircraft carrier. It is a little pricey (15-20 Dollar) but it includes an pretty good audio tour and the museum is huge. Enjoy listening to veterans who would be happy to share their experience on such ships! |

Avoid Legoland at all costs! Wasted money and time there. Even if you like the toyline and merchandise, the attractions are made just for little kids. Feels like a big kidengarten. |

Brians 24/7 is open 24 hours, has good food, prices are OK. There's a Hot Dog stand which you can eat in, has 100% beef hot dogs, a large menu to choose from, price is OK. Not far from the Hostel in San Diego. |

When the baseball Padres are on the road, they have a nice little park in the stadium complex behind the outfield bleeches. Also has a small baseball diamond for the kids, a wide HD screen to watch the Padres away games, opens until dark, safe, stadium restrooms are open to the public, security patrol the park, very safe. |
