Try to bring snacks and lunch items and prepare them in the morning to bring out for the day. Eating out on MV is poor quality, high prices. There was an italian restaurant in Oak Bluffs that was decent. Tip: you can share meals with your friends because the portions are big. |

Honestly, I prefered the night life at the hostel. A bonfire and game of cards beats the cheezy bar tourist bar scene. When we did go out, I got hit on by men in their 40's and 50's who tried to impress me with their money...yawn. |

Spend a whole day at the cliffs. It was the best beach, beautiful sunset. Walk all they way down the beach, (past the naked people) and you will find some clay to play with. Water was warm and clear. |

Aquinnah: you have to actually go down to the beach and walk along the clay cliffs. Don't just go at the lookout, not worth it. Also Menemsha: more authentic fishing village. |

Moshup beach (i think its called that) in Memepsha.....there is a fish shop that sells clam chowder with a lobster roll for $13!, also there are usually a few farmers market for fresh veggies and prepared food. |

Nectars......has great live concerts on friday, saturday.......the wailers play a benefit concert for $30 (to help feed the hungry) at the end of august that is always amazing. |

Aquinnah--has lighthouse tours at sunset, beach in menempsha (best clam chowder and lobster roll for like $13), Vineyard Scoops ice cream in edgartown and the beach on chappaquidick....you have to take a ferry over but its well worth it. |

| HI Hostel HI - West Tisbury - Martha's Vineyard Martha's Vineyard es una isla que goza de mucha historia de descanso y de actividades al aire libre, como preciosas playas, rutas ciclistas, galerías de arte, excrusiones a pescar, aventuras en kayak y visitas a granjas. Entre los lugares más visitados destacan los acantilados Aquinnah Clay, la isla Chappaquiddick, el pueblo pesquero de Menemsha, y la arquitectura tipo "Ginger Bread" (casas típicas) de Oak Bluffs.
Los huéspedes tienen que tener por lo menos 18 años o ir acompañados por su padre, madre o tutor.
Hostelling International es una organización no lucrativa de socios. Aquellos que no son socios tendrán que abonar 3$ de cuota de afiliación temporal por noche al registrarse.
