Mexican diner at Santa Monica Blvd. and 3rd Street Mall Another little cafe, between the mall and 4th Street, isn't as good as it was 12 years ago, in my opinion. It used to have ample, tasty breakfast for relatively low cost, and a little atmosphere with old movie posters & photos. Then it became unappealing with loud, unpleasant music and poor food for more cost. I think it changed hands again, as the unpleasant music apparently ceased, or is not heard out on the street, and looks like it has a different menu. I haven't eaten there since 1998, so I can't say what it's like now. |
