The Post Hotel pub offers a great dining experience with nightly specials, great ambience. Also Laggins Bakery offers day old breads, and danishes, etc at back of store. Use back door to avoid congestion at front. Plenty of fridge room in main building kitchen with labels to mark food. |

Take advantage of Emerald Lake area: Hike up to Iceline from Yoho Valley Road and do loopw ith Celeste Lake OR hike up Yoho Pass and drop down into Yoho Lake, then do Highline to junction with Iceline. A third option is Hamilton Lake-while first 500 m. mostly in trees, it is a beautiful, not frequented lake and cirque. then add on Emerald Lake circuit to complete the day. |

Perhaps Mosquito Creek hostel to take advantage of hikes up Icefields. A car is beneficial to access the hiking. |
