1) Good to Grill at the strip mall where Safeway is in on Kapahulu. Eight ounce prime rib with two sides (I had brown rice and mixed greens with balsamic vinigerette dressing) for $9.99 plus tax. Excellent and great value! They have other items like chicken, pork. 2) Small Asian restaurant (mosttly takouts) on corner of King and Alekea four blocks from the Aloha Tower Marketplace. I ordered chicken katsu with brown rice for $6.95 plus tax for takeout and could only finish half of the chicken. Great food and great value. Very busy during lunch with the office workers. |

There is a Foodland grocery store right around the corner and a Subway and pizza place too. There is also an amazing Thai restaurant down the street on Lewers Ave.& Kuhio that I dinned at 3 nights in a row. And the ABC convenience stores are on every single block in town, no joke. |
