HI Hostel AalborgThe Vikings founded this town at the narrowest point in the fjord. Their burial site was at Lindholm, which can still be seen today. The city contains many old buildings from its glory days. Aalborg is still one of the country's major trade and industrial centres. There is only a short distance from Aalborg to the mild east coast and the rougher western coast. Aalborg is a charming city with many shops and many restaurants in the famed street "Jomfru Ane Gade". DANHOSTEL Aalborg is located in a recreational area with a marina, racing track, playing fields, open-air pool and many other activities, such as crazy golf, BMX track, tennis courts and many playgrounds for children.
