02 Aug 2012 Elizabeth, USA:
The City History Museum is wonderful; so is the Gaudi walking tour (organized by the hostel). Barcelona's parks are lovely (Ciutadella, Guell, Montjuic) -- don't take the cable car at Montjuic, it's a waste of money. The Miro museum at Montjuic is also quite good, as is the Museum of Pre-colombian Art. The Erotica Museum is overpriced; the Picasso Museum has very little of Picasso's later and more famous work. The Sagrada Familia is expensive but totally worth it! |

Andorra is close to Barcelona (direct bus, several times daily) and a beautiful place to go hiking and get out of the city for a few days. Zaragoza is also easily accessible by bus and is good for a 1-2 day visit. |
