It's really close to Santa Margherita and from there you can walk to Paraggi (most clear water with fish swimming under you) and Portofino (lots of older people on cruise ships though). Catch the train to Monterosso and walk the Cinque Terre trail (give yourself the whole day and plenty of water, five euros entry) with a swim in Riomaggiore at sunset.

Cinque Terre is fantastic. Make sure to stop for a bit in Monterosso and Vernazza.
