The park opposite the hostel Aksla you get a good view from the top over the town out towards the mountains and Fyords. Also get a local bus to Hellesylt then a local ferry from Hellesylt to Geiranger through one of the most beutifull Fyords or go on the Hjorunfjord cruise which is more expensive.

The old Cinema is near the hostel it looks really old and has beutiful art deco mosaics inside, though the screen and around sound is very good, and high quality. chairs maybe a little uncomfortable though cost 100 kroner to see a film roughly £10.00
