YHA England and Wales this autumn successfully completed a £155k refurbishment of YHA Poppit Sands. The 34 bed, self catering Youth Hostel overlooking Cardigan Island and Cardigan Bay has been transformed into a modern comfortable Youth Hostel for the future!

During August 2010 many parts of the Leh District, Jammu and Kashmir in India were greatly damaged by the flash floods. YHAI on behalf of its members have now completed the reconstruction of a school building for under privileged children.
