As all HI hostels in Portugal, the breakfast is poor. Thus, this hostel in Porto only follow the poor standard of the others in Portugal.

there's a supermarket directly across the road - if you're travelling with a group of friends, they sell bread rolls in packs of 6 -and you can get cheese and ham slices there too!

The supermarket just opposite to the hostel has wonderful "portuguese egg tart", their egg tart is much more better than the one I bought in down twon and it is cheap as well (Euro 0.42 per pcs.)

Once arrive Porto, please don't forget to buy a one day travel card (in my case I just stay there one day only) as the location of that hostel is not so convenient, hence, the one day travel card helps me save some money for travelling.

on mange pour rien partout au Portugal et on est servi avec courtoisie et gentillesse même pour un café à 55 Cts , qu'on se le dise :-)
