Both Apricot Hostel and my DK travel guide recommended Blinnyy domik (Kolokolnaya ulitsa 8, few minutes walking from Apricot). Good food, VERY nice staff, felt comfortable right away, even though I travelled alone. I went back there every night. Recommended!
