09 Mar 2009 John, USA (Traveller): It's best to make your own meals but there's some fairly priced street food/BBQ down by the park near the tents where they sell the souvenir kitch. Beer is pricey in Manuel Antonio and not a bargain at all......bring a bottle of something strong with you.

16 Mar 2009 Linda, USA (Traveller): There is a grocery store in the town of quepos called Pali. You can buy cheap groceries and cook them back at the hostels kitchen or outside grill.

09 Mar 2009 John, USA (Traveller): There's no bad place to go in CR but there's nothing to see in Punta Arenas so don't stay there or walk around there after dark....which could be said for downtown San Jose too. My Thanks to Conrad, Alex and the other dude....he was kind of quiet but helpful and efficient.
