01 Dec 2011 Leanna, USA (Traveller): Ecocenter Danaus is a 600m walk from Hotel Jardines Arenal, adm.c5000. It has an interesting introduction to the trails and facilities. There is a nice Maleku gallery which displays and sell art by the Maleku people who live in the area.

01 Dec 2011 Leanna, USA (Traveller): Questionable Food Alert - La Parada aspires to mediocrity. The hostel kitchen lack basic culinary equipment. With patience and ingenuity, it is possible to prepare pasta and salad.
