04 May 2009 Edward M, England & Wales (Traveller): For whoever bored about walking up the touristic route to Ben Nevis, make sure you try to walk around the north of the mountain and approach the summit through CDM ridge. it took me 6.5 hours to the top (because of the tremendous snow) but may take you shorter time. The ridge looks scary, but actually quite safe if you walk carefully.
