If you're here, i assume it's primarily to see castles. I visited Chenonceau, as was recommended by hostellers in Paris, and it did not disappointed. The town has some beautiful gardens. i especially liked a cedar of lebanon in the garden of musee de beaux arts. i also really fell in love with the garden at the southwest of the city map, but i can't remember its name. |

Les Halles food market - spectacular. There is also a street food market nearby on certain days. I booked a mini tour bus through the tourist office to go to a number of the chateaux in the area - the Villandry gardens were particularly memorable. |
