The village of Edwinstowe (where Sherwood YHA is sited) isn't good for eating out or a quiet drink so be prepared.

The Pubs which are close by, in the crossroad but they are a bit expensive. The pizza place doesn´t look very clean and neither the chinesse and other cheap place, go to the pub pay a bit more but enjoy a proper meal.

There is two pub in the crossroad 500 yards from the hostel, there is several very nice, beautiful and friendly females; to try something and not going to bed alone.

Sherwood Forest, the Visitor Centre and the Major Oak. You can buy Robin Hood hats, archer set, bags and similar things to get dressed like Robin Hood and take nice picture in that wonderful, nice, pinturesque and charming forest. Do Not Miss.

You can go West till North Wales a wonderful area or North till Scotland and the Adrian Wall. Do not go to Birmingham, Manchester or Liverpool they are very ugly.
