If you have the time: - Take the Keolis bus (1.5 hours) to Mont Saint Michel (bus station located on right hand side of Gares Rennes (exit Sortie Nord)), a round trip ticket costs approximately 20 euro. Go and spend the whole day there exploring the sites and the history in the various museums. - Saint Malo - Sea town north of Rennes, train takes 40-50 minutes, walk around the city wall (free) and watch the tides change if you arrive early in the morning. By the afternoon, people will be enjoying the shorts and sands of the beack that were earlier covered by icy blue waves! |

You don't have to try very hard to have a good night in Rennes. A 10-15 minute walk from the hostel, you are in the center of everything with bars and restaurants lining the streets. Everyone is super friendly in the town, nothing like travelling in Paris. |

Every Saturday market or game night check out the gallette saisson, the most delicious version of a hotdog. There are also lots of creperies and kebab stands near Republique. |
