09 Sep 2012 Melanie, Australia (Traveller): Take a guided tour of the duomo. It's 13 euro and a guide takes you through the church giving a brief history. The ticket price includes access to the terraces and cupola. The view of Florence from the cupola is fantastic. The price is a bit expensive but proceeds go to maintaining the duomo.
