| They had no record of our booking. At 7.40pm some was sent to "clean the room". We waited 20minutes. After going up 3 flights of stairs with heavy bags (could someone have offered to carry them after making us wait?) we were deposited in a store room with two cots and an ancient TV flung into it. We realised that the wall between us and the corridor was actually a wooden partition with frosted windows. The "wall" did not even go as far as the roof. We heard every sound on the corridor and were woken up each time the corridor light was put on. If they didnt have a record of our stay I would have preferred that they just told us this and we could have made alternative arrangements, instead of putting us up in the storeroom. I would recommend losing this particular hostel from the HI brand. (206389) | |||
