Changed quite a bit since my last visit over two years ago (Basement off limits last time, now it's the common room). But still a charming & friendly little city hostel.

A great place to stay, we had a lovely time, thanks! Only downside was the messiness of other guests in our room- perhaps a rule could be introduced so people don't leave their stuff everywhere?

To whom it may concern (Please forward to appropriate area manager or other appropriate person), I stayed for my first time at the Baltimore HI Hostel and enjoyed my stay. The location is convenient for my trip(s) to the Baltimore area. I expect to make several trips per year to the area.

The staff of the hostel were extremely helpful and courteous. Baltimore is quite a find- under-rated I believe.

Went with 2 others and we were originally booked to have 3 bunks in a 8 bed dorm, when we got there they ended up putting us into a 4 bed dorm and blocked off the other bunk. So we had the room and bathroom to ourselves, it was so nice and the bathroom was huge, everything was really clean also. The room was right off of the shared kitchen (which is huge!) and off of the kitchen was a really neat patio which was a great place to enjoy the free pancakes. The room must not have been very insulated though because boy did a lot of noise come thru around 3am from the other guests getting back and hanging out for a while, but we should've picked up some of the complimentary earplugs i guess. I'd definitely stay there again.

The day I went there, the layout of the hostel felt organized. A name tag was used to claim your bed so you couldn't steal someone else's bed. Nice to have a pancake breakfast before leaving for the day.

No EV is not good. but a staff carried my suitecase, he is so kind and good person.

The pillows and mattresses encased in plastic were not comfortable despite having a pillowcase and sheets between ones body and the layers of plastic.
