| I spent two nights at this hostel, and it was the best I could ever have hoped for. Clean, comfortable rooms with beautiful views, a huge and well-stocked kitchen, a warm and comfortable living room and great fellow travelers to talk to. All of this just surrounded by some of the most beautiful landscape: sky, sea, and giant sequoias over two thousand years old. I'm just bummed that the hostel is closing in January, because I'd love to go back again and again. Definitely not a party hostel; rather, a warm and social place to rest after a long day of exploring the parks. (232305) | |||

| It was excellent! I'd been wanting to stay at the Redwood National Park hostel for years...and then I heard it was closing, so I rushed on up there. It was wonderful. And I am so disappointed it's closing. I'm hoping this is temporary, and it can reopen soon. This hostel is a treasure. Thank you!! (229761) | |||
