I LOVED TALKING WITH THE NOMAD FEMALES OF THE DORM. QUITE FUN. I TOTALLY LOVED THE WINE CORKSCREW OF THE KITCHEN, WAS QUITE IMPRESSED. AS WELL WITH THE GOOD FRIENDLY TALKS WITH COMMUTING STRANGERS AS PER USUAL... CONFIRMED MY APPRECIATION OF THE HI, WORLDWIDE. QUITE FUN ! THE WORLD MAP IS QUITE A CONVERSATION TRIGGER. LOVE AND PEACE. REGARDS. HÉLÈNE

Great atmosphere and easy going staff made my stay very enjoyable. The large dorms were actually quite functional. However the air con was right next to my bed and was pretty loud and blasted cold air every 30 mins.

the girl at the reception desk was extremely nice! I think she went far beyond the call of duty. The location is great- especially compared to that of other hostels in Philly, located in rather unsafe neighborhoods.

The hostel was excellent and I really ebjoyed it, even more so with wine and cheese and free pata meal. Congratulations- I'll be recommending Apple!

Good! one thing I didn't like was that there were 13 bunkers in 1 room. closing sound of door was very annoying every single time when 26 people go and out. Beside that, every thing was good. expecially best location for indepencence hall!!

New gal at reception had hard time working on her own, having to call someone elsehwre 4 o4 5 times during my check in. I understood but felt bad for her to be unsupervisied on her own.

Sorry Marshall! It took Sabrina a bit longer than usual to be trained. She had completed the normal training process prior to your visit, but after that day she received two more training shifts after that to be sure that she was ok. - Marc

Out of all the 12 places we stayed this summer, the staff we the most helpful here. We were given maps and the lady drew on where we should visit in our time limit etc. Great place for catching up on sleep, the lights being turned off and on by staff.
