| Es un albergue estupendo, muy bien ubicado, organizan muchas actividades, las instalaciones están muy bien. Lo peor las habitaciones. Por lo menos a nosotros nos tocó una habitación que por las noches no se podía dormir por el ruido. Además los armarios no tenían candado. Como hay 300 camas, y es posible elegir habitaciones con menos gente y con baño, supongo que estos problemas se podrían solventar, quizás pagando un poco más. (213046) | |||

| When booking through hihostels.com, the amount to pay at arrival was different than the actual one I had to pay. Taxes were added to that amount. Hi Hostelling SF, SD, Vancouver... they all respect the total amount due when making the reservation, which includes taxes. (211086) | |||

| We had a little problem in that when we arrived, the reservation we thought had been made couldn't be found. Luckily there was still a room available, but this could be a problem for other travellers. The next morning we talked to the person who had made it and she had no memory of it and we didn't have the paperwork at the time. However when I got home, I found the credit card slip, so I know that it was made. I am just hoping that my credit card wasn't billed for a "no show". (233862) | |||

| I got infected with bedbug bites that have been burning, hurting and itching for over a week now! I've written to the national office, but the Santa Monica office has not yet replied. I want a full refund for my pain and suffering. Besides the horrible bites, I have had to wash all my clothes, dry clean some items and disinfect my suitcase for eggs. When I arrived at my room, there was no mattress. The staff brought it back. Obviously, someone before me had problems. Later, I was upgraded to a new room, but by then I had over 30 bites on my body that were inflamed and infected. The manager gave me a $15 discount when I checked out, but I suffered more than that.
