| Excellent place to stay - hearing a seal bark from the dorm was great! Short walk into town or to the supermarket made everything accessible. (229951) | |||

| I was unable to partake of the "FREE BREAKFAST" each morning as I left before breakfast began at 7:30 am each morning. I would have liked the self serve kitchen to open before 7:00am so I could have used it before I left each day. All-in-all a great stay! (228748) | |||

| I have been to many hostels in the US. This is the best. Frendly staff. Very good facillities. Nice breakfast and nice cafe. Very nice location. Many arrangements.

| Basically I wasted $50 for 2 nights stay in a room I couldn't even sleep in because someone was snoring so loud NOT A SINGLE PERSON IN THE ROOM COULD SLEEP. It would be nice if perhaps hostels could develop a policy to kick out people who snore too loud rather than everyone else in the room paying money for nothing. I ended up just checking out at 3 am, changing my flight to the earliest one possible which cost me another $50 because I was so sick of this place. I tried to sleep in the common room, along with someone else who'd left the room because they couldn't sleep either (actually from a different room) but we were informed we couldn't sleep there. So, really, thanks for nothing! (227505) | |||

| The mattress was too thin. I had difficulty in sleeping for the 5 nights I was there. I was not liking the many children running about and unsupervised screaming and yelling. This hostel use to be mainly for adults only. Could you please emphasize parents that their children should be properly managed and not running in and out of the bathrooms and not be screaming early in the morning or up at all hours running around past 10pm. The Fisherman's Wharf hostel use to be my favorite hostel, not anymore because of too many families with their uncontrollable children. (218126) | |||

| The staff were very knowledgeable and the facility was one of the best I have experienced....and I have traveled throughout Europe visiting more then 20 hostels. A few extra wall hooks in the shower area would make it easier to hang up clothes while one showers. The prepaired meals were very good and the healthy choices were considerable...Good Job! I didn't have a chance to use the very large downstairs kitchen and dining area which is available....the Safeway supermarket a short walk away will make cooking for myself so easy on my next visit... which I have already booked. The under-bed lockers are very spacious...so bring your own lock. (214841) | |||
