i had a very very nice stay at the stayokey hostel i would definately come back again some day. the only thing that was really annoying was the noise. every day another happening was distroying the quietness of the area which is beautiful. especially the children were very difficult to live with.

The location is odd - in the middle of fields and orchards once you have taken a train ride or bus ride out of utrecht. However you are in a medieval building and the setting is beautiful. So if you want to stay out of the city it's great! You can rent bikes there and not to long a ride into the city! THey have a cool little bar there too:)

It was the most expensive hostel we stayed in. 15 Euros deposit for the keys seems expensive, in fact it is 3x as much as any other hostel we stayed in. Also we did not get our deposit back as reception did not open till 8.30 and we had to leave before that to get our train. There is nowhere to buy food, apart from the limited choice in the bar. Directions to the hostel on the website are unclear. All of this indicates a lack of catering for the needs of backpackers.

this is a very unique hostel. i loved it. unfortunately, my stay was noisy due to a kids sports camp staying in my sleeping facilities. i wish i had a room that was quite not so close to them they were very loud, aside from them, i loved the main reception and bar. the sleeping facilities are nothing special though! they are below average.

average hotel, but you have to do something with the flyes, the best of the hostel is a german girl working there, love her smile and her eyes, she is very proactive, and very friendly. the bar closes at 12... and you have to return the rented bikes before 11, so you cannot go out much late being in this hostel, beause this hostel is in the middle of a forest (beautiful one, but still, in the middle of nowhere)

Ik zat in de Bongerd, en die kamers mogen toch wel eens gemoderniseerd worden... Ik miste verlichting aan bed.

We were very impressed by both the hostel and its location. The restaurant was good but the choice was very limited when we ordered about 1/2 hour before closing time. We would (and have already) recommend this hostel to others.
