Front desk clerk very helpful, and her perfect English was a nice surprise. I enjoyed the lobby/lounge/reading area with Wi-Fi and books. A neighborhood map with restaurant recommendations would've been nice. Also being able to rent a normal-sized towel, instead of buying a tiny one would've been nice. My bed was comfy. Staff very friendly. Liked the pet rabbit & dog!

We had a private room which was comfortable and clean, but no cafe or restaurant as advertised.

This was just the best Hostel we went to. The ambiance is really great and welcoming. Plenty of books to read and people to meet downstairs. Although the place is kind of hard to find, once you find it everything is great. Loved it.

Jasmine hostel is really sweet. A quaint, peaceful courtyard and outdoor covered terrace. Great indoor lounge. Rooms with AC is a big plus. Great laundry and shower facilities. Though, the men's bathroom has a window to the ground outside that doesn't shut, right next to the toilet! Not much privacy in that one. As for food, good coffee but all the food is very overpriced for it's worth. A daping (big bottle) of Chinese beer is about twice+ the price of the same thing at the little kiosk across the street. Meal selections aren't the best, and are also overpriced - chinese tomato and eggs, fried rice. Other than that, great place to stay!

The bathroom on the second floor needs to be rebuilt. The hostel succeeded in an attempt to fit three stalls into a space comfortable acomodating only two. As a result, the doors are so narrow that even the Chinese have to turn sideways to enter them. Otherwise, it was a comfortable place in a pleasant neighborhood.
