This was the best hostel I've stayed in whilst backpacking Canada. There are heaps of activities, pub crawls, walks etc to help you make new friends (great for independent travellers). The staff are really friendly, and more than willing to assist with questions. The rooms are pretty cool too, the dorm I stayed in had a little ensuite. Would stay again, and recommend others to stay too. Thanks for a great time :) (233319)

I really like this hostel ... friendly staff, comfie bed, great bar/cafe downstairs, and only minutes from the Metro and rue Ste-Catherine. In-room lockers large enough for a backpack or a carry-on suitcase would be nice, and would reduce room clutter. Outward-swinging door to small toilet/shower room would facilitate entry/exit without need of Houdini-esque contortions (I'm slim). Well, every dormitory has a free locker per person. the free lockers provided in the rooms are mostly for laptops, camera... you know expensive belongings. Maybe by lockers you meant a lock... yeah people need to bring their own lock. but overall I hope you liked your stay here. hasta la proxima!! Isa (199918)

I love this hostel. I have stayed at many around the world and this is one of my favourites. The room was clean and the bed comfy. Great social areas and staff were fantastic. Had a really great stay. Only thing that would be nice is a quiet room for reading, but apart from that, excellent hostel.
