Nous avons beaucoup frequenté les HI pendant notre sejour de 5 semaines en Argentine (voir nos appréciations) . Mais, A Salta aussi bien qu'a B.A. nous avons beaucoup souffert du bruit nocturne par les pensionnaire de l'auberge. Dans ces 2 cas, le veilleur de nuit n'a absolument pas fait respecter le silence ; les cris et les conversations à voix plus que forte devant la porte de la chambre juqu'à 2 heures du matin ! quand on veut se lever tôt pour partir en ballade !!! Il nous avait semblé que le respect du sommeil des autres était un des principes des HI. Dommage ! Petite amélioration a apporter : des veilleuses à chaque lit Bernard et Edith Cassignard - Bordeaux - France

Do not expect a lot of confort. Beds are not that good. Hwv staff is great, always willing to help. There is a lot of drinks to buy and the environment is very good, with people drinking and talking at night. Good place to know people.

I stayed on three different ocassions during my 2 week visit in and out of BA and found it like coming home due to the great staff and seeing familiar faces of students of Spanish who were lodging there.

The hostel experience was very good. However, i was very disappointed with this hostel - I bought a membership card here, but later found out that they did not give me all the benifits of membership...vaultures for 15 nights stay in other cities. I went to cordoba and the hostel there asked me for the valuture and I told them i had no idea what they were talking about. I later found out that by buying a membership card, i was entilied to 15 free nights in other cities...i did not recieve this.

I WOULD LIKE TO COMPLAIN AS FOLLOWS. 1) I HAD ASKED TO RESERVE "TONGO SHOW" AND PAID MONEY 165 A-PESOS TO NIGHT TURN GUY AT RECEPTION. BUT HE DID NOT ISSUE RECEIPT. 2) I HAD PAID KEY DEPOST 20 A-PESOS TO ANOTHER NIGHT TURN GUY WHEN I RECHECKED IN. THE WOMAN RUNNER AT HI BUENOS AIRES REFUSED TO RESERVE "TANGOSHOW" AND ALSO DID NOT PAYBACK MY 165 A-PESOS. THE WOMAN ALSO REFUSED PAYBACK MY KEY DEPOSIT 20 A-PESOS BY SAYING BECAUSE I HAVE NO RECEIPT. BUT THE SIDE WHO DID NOT ISSUE REIPT IS HI BUENOS AIRES THEMSELVES. HI BUEMOS AIRES HAS NOT LAVEL OF HI AND THEY COULD NOT STICK LAVEL.
