The showers were good with plenty of hot water. The meals were good value for money.

we were met by a very stroppy receptionist who couldnt be bothered even looking at our reservation when we arrived. no hot water in bathroom on the night we arrived and rooms were far too hot with no way to open a window. overall - v disappointing.

Because this restaurant has a restaurant the kitchen facilities border are simply awful. There hardly any plates and cutlery and no dishtowels making using the kitchen a risky proposition healthwise.

Top of bunk bed collapsed on me while sleeping, luckily I did not suffer serious enjuries, other then few bruises over the body. Staff did not send me to doctor. They were lost and did not know what to do. I was offered refund of that night. Hostel is very comercial. They do not provide a lounge for backpackers. They couple of sofas together wioth internet cafe. They have a busy restaurant on site. No lockers offered inside the room. Kitchen is very small for a hostel of that size. Room doors are kept open all the time and people can get inside from unmaned door. I don't think they should be associated to Hostelling International.

This hostel is very convenient in that the major bus line stops here. Also, they have a great restaurant located right in the hostel and lots of computers available. However, because the bus stops here and there is a restaurant in the hostel, there were a lot of people coming in and out that were not staying at the hostel. These people could walk back to the dormitory areas because there were no locks on any of the doors (even the rooms you sleep in) and these people also used the same community bathrooms that those of us staying at the hostel used. I kind of disliked that there were so many people who were not staying at the hostel that had open access to all the areas that the rest of us were staying in.
