|Really nice. It's right in the centre, and very good value. It's located down a small side street, and the street it's on is fairly quiet, and inside the hostel it is pretty relaxed. I stayed in a double room, and it was spacious, and comfortable. Really nice.|
|The first night we were put in a room without a proper door, the door was made of glass and the lock was an electronic magnet, which was very easy to open without a key. We didn't feel safe at all and when we asked if we could change rooms they said maybe you should change hotels in a very rude way! the second day there was the lady behind the desk which was much better, and we were able to change to aroom which had a door which was much safer|
|Internet connection just happen in an area open and very cold in the winter.|
|Don't be such cheap skates. Give guests a lock for their lockers. It's the norm throughout Asia.|
|THE STAFFS VERY KINDLY. AND THEY SPOKE ENGLISH VERY WELL. AND THE INTERIOR OF THE YH BUILDING WAS FUSIONAL, SO GOOD.
BUT WASHING AND DRYING THE COSTUMES WAS NOT EASY. AND HANDLING THE SURFACES OF THE BLANKETS WERE INCONVENIENT A LITTLE.
ANYWAY VERY CLEAN, CHEAP, KINDLY. I RECOMMEND YOU! |
|Beautiful hostel - very quiet and nice setting for an inner city hostel. However, they have a problem with mice. One got into bed with us.
Also, the staff did not recognize my e-membership and it took a lot of arguing to get them to accept it. If this is the case in other hostels, I would not recommend buying an e-membership|
|Definitely one of the best hostels where I've stayed. The rooms are pretty standard, and if I had one complaint it was that you had to bring your own TP, but other than that a really good experience, and the location was perfect. However, one thing that's really tough is finding the place. What you need to do is come out of the 9, 10 or 11 exits of the Renmin Square subway stop. If you're situated so that the park is behind you and you're facing the road, turn left and continue until you come to the first intersection--you should see a very tall Marriott hotel across the street. Cross the street moving towards the hotel, then take a left. The next, street on your right, which goes around back of the Marriott, is where the hostel is. On that street there's a big sign that says "International Hostel." It's right across the street from that sign, tucked in an alley with a giant vertical sign that says HOSTEL. Hope that helps someone!|
|Staf is OK.
The only thing i didn't like was the fact that the staff at the reception doesn't always speaks english (during the night)|
