| One of the Best managed Hostel. I am a widely travelled Youth Hosteller, having covered more than 100 Hostels in 46 Years of my Travelling Life.

| In fact My experience at the hostel was truly bad, I sent am email advising for am early arrive ( coming from Sapa train at 5 am) when I arrived the propale at reception did not let me in, even they almost do not speak. English. I have to wait until 11am for The room, they said It would be ready at 9 am. Also they tried to convince to buy tickets , taxis, all you need at their own travel agency but all prices were overcharged. Beber come back again!! Early in The morning i left my room I saw a "Big rat" walking in The dinnig room haha!!! | ||

| We opted for basic private rooms (2nd floor) of the hostel that were nicely serviced through an efficient staff. The rooms are furnished with essential comfort. Beds are comfortable (with clean linen) to sleep on and the room had two chairs that we used to keep our luggage. When we wanted to stay indoors, the television with few english-language movie channels kept us happy. Though the room did not have a kettle, the staff was friendly to provide us with hot drinking water as and when we needed - and without any additional cost. Bathrooms are ventilated, clean and stocked with essential toiletries (soaps, shampoos, toothbrushes, etc.), flip-flops, towels and are equipped with a hot shower. Breakfast was included in the room tarrif and it was served on time for us to start our day tours. | ||

| I stayed 3 nights at this hostel. The bed was comfortable and well maintained. I appreciated the fresh towels each day. The breakfast cook was very accommodating. The staff was friendly , helpful and welcoming making our experience in hanoi a positive one. Tommy was especially helpful and was willing and able to help us with any problems we had. We will definitely recommend this hostel to any travellers planning to visit hanoi. | ||

| We were surprised that it's marketed as "Ancient Town Hostel" here on Hostelling International but is otherwise known as "Lucky Queen Hotel." Admittedly, we got what we paid for (a bed, a bathroom and breakfast in the AM) but otherwise nothing beyond that. Also, our first evening there, we were awakened around 3 am to yelling and shouting only to find the next morning the glass doors up front were damaged/destroyed by some commotion...seemed slightly weird. Wifi worked okay and we did get a decent bus from Hanoi to Ha Long. Overall, though, would probably recommend against booking this place in favor of something a little nicer. | ||

| The website states the hotel has just been renovated. This is not true! The place was a mess; dirty, broken furniture, chipped paint and moldy rooms. Not worth the money, not worth staying. We left after 1 night in stead of two. I do not understand how dis place earned its affiliation with your organisation as this usually stood for quality and service.. | ||
