If you stay in a dorm bed you have to enter until 23 but if you pay more and stay in a single room you can go in any time??? that doesnt make any sense. Its a way to make sure everyone takes a single room and pays more. !!!!

very good hostel. Toilets were renovated and looked like in a good hotel, just larger ;) rooms were clean and large enough. Walking distance to the city center. The best hostel ever at this incredibly low price!

This hostel is just a good place to sleep. Only a couple of the staff members were friendly. Don't plan on getting good directions from them. The phone in the "lobby" is only for staff members. They bolt lock the door at 11pm and the guard will not let anyone in or out, unless they pay for a private room. Everything else there closes at 11 pm, as well: internet, t.v., and laundry rooms, and kitchen. The kitchen was not well stocked with dishes and utensils. There was no coffee maker, and I couldn't boil water for tea because the inside of the kettle was disgusting. The rooms and bathrooms were kept clean. Plan on taking a tram or bus to get around. You can buy student tickets. The best deal is a 24 hr. pass good for all trams and buses (around 6 zł for a student, 12 zł adult).

It's very inexpensive, and it has the amenities you need, but you get what you pay for here. The bedding is very old and scratchy, the staff are only sporadically there, which is difficult when you need to get into the kitchen (which was sporadically locked, not according to hours), or when the Internet breaks down. It was also pretty loud, and the bathrooms lacked privacy. The "towel" I paid for was literally a dish towel. I paid for several days and then asked for a refund because I decided to leave and they would not give me one. They also had no record of my Hostels International Reservation.

During my stay in Cuma the weather was extremely cold and it snowed every day but the hostel was heated and warm around the clock. The place was very clean and well organised. The kitchen lacked plates and so on but if you went to the reception they would give you what you needed and then you would had to return it back to them. I am a budget traveller and have stayed in hostels in different countries and Cuma hostel is one of the best that I have come across. While staying in Cuma I made a lot of friends from different countries as well as Polish traveller. Well done Cuma , keep up the good work. Dariush TRS (The Rolling Stone)
