Location is awkward for elderly people using public transport. We also found that sometimes school groups may not be as well behaved as they should be - not that we expect kids not to have fun but screaming round the hostel, yelling at the tops of their voices is not what we expect.

One staff member was very nice. One was surly. Couples pay a lot. Hotels are almost same price.

What a delightful place, set in the trees and not that far from Otterlo and the Kroller-Muller museum which was unbelievably good for all my favorite painting artists like Van Gogh and the amazing sculpture garden. My room was right above the fun area but not a bit of sound came through. Couldn't write a higher report about this location and the staff! I would love to go back and tak all my family or my painting friends.

Noisiest hostel I stayed in in Holland. Doors banging in corridors until after midnight 3 nights in a row. Can the doors be soundproofed? Great location. Can walk to folk museum. Can bike to De Hoge Veluwe. Directions on web site could be expanded. Would be nice to be able to lock the lockers in the bedrooms.

The hostel is in a very peaceful neighbourhood and a walk about the area is pleasant. Use of the bus from nearby the train station is excellent advice. A tourist office not far from the train station will be very helpful in directing guests to the bus. The hostel staff were courteous and aided us in finding the Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery, east of Nijmegen. The bar scene at the hostel was noisy as should be expected but other guests were quiet in the dorm areas. School tours tended to be noisy in the dorms, though. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay in Arnhem.

It's a really nice hostel but the location is not ideal. I don't recommend walking from the train station with a heavy backpack. Also, take a good map or, like me, you'll get horribly confused.
