Karei Deshe is a wonderful hostels in the souh Galilea, if anyone should pass nearby he should stop there at least one day. It's placed in an amusement area on the shore of Tiberias lake. There you can take a rest on your travel and from there by foot you can make a trial to Jesus 's place : mount of Beatitudes and Cafarnaus. Moreover there you 'll find a very frendly atmosphere,and a very niceand helpfull staff,

Just the best place to stay at the Kinneret! You have access to the Lake and a nice beach and green area. The GuestHouse itself is very special, charming yard. Look at the fotos! Better to reach by car. If you come by Egged it'll take a 15-20 minutes walk, which can be quiet hard in summer.

I intended to pay with an American Express card, which I had arranged with Amex to use in Israel. When I presented it at Karei Deshe I was told it was not authorised and I must present another card. I therefore used another card. When I phoned Amex about this they told me the Hostel should have phoned for authorisation. According to Amex, the hostel staff had not bothered to do this. I do not know who is right, but as I was paying for several people it unfortunately lost me about 600 airmiles which I would have received if i had been able to use my Amex card.
