| staff at reception wasn't there when we arrived, and everything was closed. instead there was a sign that said to call a cellphone number if we had a booking. not considering the costs we were gonna have calling an israeli phone with an european carrier (around 30 LIS per minute), we did, but a fax machine answered... this forced us to find a new staying for the night, and i assure you it wasn't easy. the next day in the morning we went there for some explanations for what had happened and the lady at the reception told us we hadn't called her, so we were liers and we were trying to have a night free..... | This stay is difficult to rate since it was during Gaza war. Even though Mitzpeh Ramon was outside the critical zone, I was the only guest and *nobody* of the staff was or stayed on the premisses. I had to call the receptionist and wait 20mins for her to arrive. The stay two nights before was, however, okay. Staff (met only the reception lady) was unfriendly both times.
Location is great. Get up early to see the sun rise over the maktesh. (172799) | |||
