| The staff was excellent and the hostel is in a great location BUT it was difficult to find. From the main street there is no sign to tell you which alley to walk down. Some signs would be beneficial. (227774) | |||

| The rooms we staid in were among the cleanest and most spacious we had in China, and there was a great view of the Jialing river. We staid in a private double room, which was great and great value for money (the biggest, best *and* cheapest double we had at any hostel on our trip). The area is pretty far from the city center, 30-40 minutes by bus, and a 20 minute walk to the nearest Bank of China ATM, so make sure you have enough cash to pay for the room when you arrive. That said, the area is also much, much nicer than the city center scenery-wise, so there is a tradeoff between comfort and scenery vs. central location. (200768) | |||

| This hostel is in fascinating Ciqikou ancient street, and right next to the river. Beautiful views. The staff here are fantastic, and will help you with anything. Get a good price on luxury cruises of the Yangze river. The weather was so hot here that our laundry was dry within a half hour of hanging it up! (200129) | |||
