dommage qu'on entende autant les gens de la chambre voisine sinon le cadre est vraiment magnifique et avec un epu de courage il est possible de remonter du centre ville a pieds

A large group of young students were staying at the same time. TOTALLY unsupervised by their teachers/parents. No input appeared to be given the hostel manager. Unable to obtain an evening meal as priority was given to the students. 4 other couples went into Bath for a meal & 1 sent out for pizza ! We were required to be at breakfast not later than 7-30am as the students were to be given priority from 7-45.

Staff were extremely helpful in providing information on things to do locally, the scenic walk to town, which bus was cheaper, where to park nearby.

A beautiful hostel, clean and professional staff, except for some man serving me breakfast the 2nd day I was there (1st day the woman & man were WONDERFUL). He was standing behind the breakfast counter (doing nothing) but didn't even bother acknowledging me, until I said "hello can you serve me?"

I loved this hostel building with its lovely grounds and driveway. The old stonebuilding is beautiful and I stayed in a huge room with pressed ceilings with casement windows overlooking the garden.

the staff on the evening of 22nd was very helpful and friendly. on the other hand, the staff on early morning of 23rd sept was very nasty and rude. ..kept me waiting at the counter for more than 2 minutes while he talked on the phone until i had to seek help elsewhere. made me felt very mch being discriminated. rating fair all because of the nice staff on the first evening otherwise i would very much love to voted very poor for friendliness of staff.
