Nous avons rencontré des difficultés pour le paiement. Le personnel n'était pas informé de notre réservation préalable sur internet et il a été difficile de récupérer l'argent versé. De plus, une des personnes à l'accueil n'a pas manifesté son souhait de se renseigner à ce propos, et il a fallu insister à plusieurs reprises. Du fait, nous avons dû payer en plusieurs fois, et nous avons à chaque fois été ponctionnées de 2000€ pesos supplémentaires (paiement par carte). Quand la situation fini par être clarifiée, nous avions perdu plus en commissions de CB que l'argent de réservation internet qui nous a été reversé. Par ailleurs, nous avions réservé un "double room" et à notre arrivée c'est un "triple room" (et son prix !) qui nous a été imposé. Nous nous sommes donc senties un peu "arnaquées". Nous ne recommanderons pas cette auberge.

very very noisy. the courtyard is covered in gravel, so every time someone leaves their room in the middle of the night, it wakes you up. Also, there was no hot water in the showers all 5 days we were there. However, the staff was amazing and helped us plan everything, and even let us store our bags all day with no extra charge.

Bathrooms very poor, room very basic, breakfast also very basic. Common area was right outside the room door and was very loud.

I found this hostel to be very grotty, with disgusting showers and toilets. i would not recommend it.

It is quite below the standards of the typical HI hostels, the dormitories are mixed, which was not mentioned on the website. Also breakfast is quite poor, they should try to improve that, as with the security, we shared a dormitory but never got a key and there are no lockers, so there is no safety at all. Staff were friendly and helpful though.

The location of the hostel is awesome! Near to the downtown, but far enough from there to be silent at night. Among the staff group I should highlight the work of the recepcionist Francisca, who is very friendly. The negative point of the hostel are the showers that usually don´t warm water or do the other way around: warm it so much that becomes impossible to shower. Since the hostel is in the middle of the most arid desert of the world, the tip is to get a cold shower to refresh a little.

Only double room available was a room with low mezzanine upper floor. Stairs not according safety standards. I fell from the top down to the cement floor in order to use the outside toilets. Hostel is very small in area - Toilets and showers very basic but at least men and women are separated.

Just one criticism... the staff failed to give me a message from a local tour agancy saying that my tour for the next day had changed and that I would be leaving at 8am, and not 5am..... I was in the room directly opposite the reception and so this shouldn't have been difficult.
